About

The mission of the Psalterium Institute is to promote the art of choral singing, provide music education for people of all ages and skill levels, and to contribute to the renewal of sacred music in the Catholic Church in Maine.

Our programs include:

• Choirs for adults and children of all ages and skill levels

• Choral music performances

• Sacred music support at Catholic liturgies throughout the State of Maine

• Private vocal instruction for all levels

• Ear training and sight-singing instruction

• Music history and appreciation

• Cantor training

• Liturgical music training and consultation for Catholic clergy.
